Guess who’s the new Don Corleone? Our favorite disc jockey, DJ Dimplez! Fresh out of the waves the music video of “ Thandolwakho” generated, DJ Dimplez is very well ready to bet it all on a new song he’s titled ‘The Don” and he’s attacked this latest jam with all the zeal that has made him so revered and celebrated.
On this effort, DJ Dimplez features a massively-heavyweight cast in the mould of Pound, Khuli Chana and Gemini Major. You might be already going hysterical over the name cast. However that is not all. This jam was umasked by “Back To The Beach” man, Sketchy Bongo; who enjoys production credits on this latest screamer.

“The Don” is just a mixture of the best that music is all about. It fuses the reggae flavour with dope beats over stinging lyrics from lyrical geniuses. What do you expect from Pound? Or King Khuli Chana who destroyed his own “Respek” and “Mahamba Yedwa” hits. We shouldn’t even get started with Gemini Major – the Family Tree man who’s been doing great things with such hits as “Bad Man Ting” and “Ragga Ragga ”.
DJ Dimplez or Don Corleone continues on his impressive run and drive with this latest effort. This is a masterpiece and a masterclass. This is the definition of Musicology 101 and the best of South African music. As you can imagine, we are in awe of the banger that “The Don” really is.
As you can imagine too, fans are already in a fierce battle all over social media. Asides from going bonkers over this latest effort; they also have an opinion on who destroyed this banger the most. Your weekend shouldn’t be blessed with this epic alone.
