Edo state Governor Adams Oshiomhole has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have not been honest with the Edo people, regarding their gubernatorial Candidate's crime history.
Obaseki and Ize-Iyamu, the two major contenders for the Edo governorship election.
Oshiomhole said that CONTRARY to the claims of the PDP governorship Candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu that he has never been indicted for any crime, was allegedly the PDP Candidate by a panel led by Prof. Sagay ITS rusticated for two years.
The governor said the state Or Ize-Iyamu the rustication came after a fellow student allegedly bathed with acid at the University of Benin (U.).

It would be recalled that in an online interview Ize-Iyamu said he was rusticated for being a member of the Pirate confraternity at the University of Benin he then bathed and not because some body with acid.
However, Oshiomhole who spoke at the mega rally of the APC, to round up the governorship campaign of the APC Candidate, Mr Godwin Obaseki, said: "Ize-Iyamu said he has never in his life been indicted. And that he was 31 when he made his first millions.

On the issue of Bendel Brewery, Oshiomhole narrated: "We have not been able to reopen Bendel Brewery because of the huge debt that the PDP left in place.
I heard that they were saying from Ize-Iyamu collecting N25million monthly Bendel Brewery but now as the Custodian of the treasure of Edo state, I can tell you those monies went into private pockets. And by the time they left, Bendel Breweries was N2billion Owingen, which they borrowed and the company was closed. "
In the same vein, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Charles Idahosa, has revealed why former governor of Edo state and member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Lucky Igbinedion, has rejected to join the campaign train of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

He was also arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged fraud while in office, arraigned and found guilty.
However he plea-bargained with the federal government to return him making some amount of the public treasury.
Idahosa, a former director of media and protocol and commissioner for information in Lucky Igbinedion's administration, said Igbinedion was to ashamed to campaign for its achievement as Ize-Iyamu because the PDP has nothing to offer in the state.
Ize-Iyamu served under Igbinedion but he has maintained that he was a mere appointee and had no powers when he would finally become much unlike the governor if he wins the election slated for August 10, 2016.
